Dr Bruce Mitchell has an extensive Sports Medicine background (a previous AFL club doctor) and is Ex- National President of Sports Medicine Australia . Dr Mitchell is a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne , Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine (CHESM) and has a special interest in the management of hip, buttock, back and groin pain. He is an active researcher in these fields and has published extensively. Dr Mitchell has training in spinal interventional techniques and is constantly developing these skills. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and has completed a Masters of Pain Medicine. He recently completed the International Fellowship of Interventional Pain Practice.

Dr Paul Verrills a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Musculoskeletal Medicine and completed a Masters in Pain Medicine under Professor Bogduk at the University of Newcastle . He has also been awarded his International Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice. Currently, he is on the Research Committee for the International Spinal Intervention Society (ISIS) and is Editor of the ISIS Newsletter/Journal. Dr Verrills regularly presents in the United States on interventional techniques and is a teaching facilitator within ISIS . He is also an active member of the World Institute of Pain, the International Association for the Study of Pain, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Dr David Vivian is past-president and a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Musculoskeletal Medicine (AFMM), and past-president of the Australian Association of Musculoskeletal Medicine (AAMM). He has over 25 years experience in pain assessment and management. Dr Vivian is co-author of the NHMRC Guidelines on Acute Musculoskeletal Pain released in 2004. He has a major interest in musculoskeletal pain research. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of complex and difficult pain problems and regularly presents lectures around Australia on the topics of neuropathic and spinal pain: particularly related to the evidence-based management of acute back pain in general practice (for example, GPCE 2006 and 2007). He was an initiator and then a medical participant in the National Musculoskeletal Medicine Initiative, which showed that evidence-based medical management of acute musculoskeletal problems resulted not only in superior short and long term outcomes, but also in lowered cost of treatment.

Emma Colson is an APA Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Emma has worked with the National Women's Cycling Team and was physiotherapist appointed to cycling at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Formerly a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne , Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine (CHESM) hip study group, Emma has a special interest in chronic back and hip pain and the use of ultrasound retraining as a treatment modality. As an elite athlete, Emma has also represented Australia at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games in the Women's Cross-Country Mountain bike event.

Denise Jury is an interactive and educational designer, completing a Master of Multimedia and heads the production team at Clinica Media. She has a first degree in Physiology and Zoology, and diverse experiences teaching in secondary and extension education environments including a role as Senior Education Officer at Melbourne Zoo. Denise has a special interest in the use of multimedia as an educational and communication tool particularly in the Scientific and Health fields. Denise has also worked as a freelance designer, developing a variety of interactive and design projects both online and for CD-Rom delivery for the private, corporate and government sectors.
